Her more recent interests span\u00a0poetics, material culture, phenomenology, psychoanalysis, and feminism. Her latest book, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.penguin.co.uk\/books\/111\/1117276\/dressed\/9781787331495.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Dressed: The Secret Life of Clothes<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(Jonathan Cape, 2019), is a philosophical meditation on the place of dress in culture.<\/p>\n<p>She is also very interested in modern art and architecture, as well as\u00a0examining engagements with Islam and the East. She writes widely on these topics and more for\u00a0<i>Frieze, The Financial Times, The\u00a0<\/i><em>TLS<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Times Higher Education<\/em>, the\u00a0<em>Guardian<\/em>, and\u00a0others.
