She is Visiting Professor in English and the Medical Humanities at King\u2019s College London<\/p>\n<p>Since Plato the greatest intellectual adventure has often been thought to be the pursuit of truth. Might there be alternative intellectual adventures? And if so, in what would they consist? Would they be a dangerous threat to hard won insights and the very purpose of thought?
